Evolutionary theory is encouraged
4 of 4 found this helpful I bought this NKJB in chronological order bewcause I wanted to compare its time line with a Reese Chronological Bible in KJB which I had already purchased. I have to say I like the Reese much better. This Bible is full of a lot of modern concepts and does not ring as true to me as the Reese. That does not mean I agree with either this Bible or the Reese in all time interpretations. It is a good resource. Although I prefer to read the KJB. I guess I am one of those old guys that see the KJB as more readable and trust worthy. Thees, ye, thou etc. Donot bother me. They help to understand whether a certain passage is intended for a singular or plural audience. although the ending of many words are different than most contemporaneous translations. They are to me more useful.
To reiterate, this Bible is good, but in my opinion the Reese is better. This leads one to believe in evolution.
