Wide sound stage, really good tubes for this price
1 of 1 found this helpful Wide sound stage, really good tubes for this price. I tried to replace 6N1P-EV tubes and Tungsram seems better but ECC85 has different electrical parameters so not the best match to my circuit designed for 6N1P (1.5x bigger anode current) tube. Despite not optimal circuit design, it was comparable to Russian 6N1P-EV and it is better in high frequencies. I believe they should be much better in circuit designed for ECC85.

Good fuse but any affect on music resolution/stereo stage
The fuse works well but don't improve the music quality at all on my audiophile system;
- Vincent SV-237MK tube-hybrid amplifier
- Audio Physic Classic 20 high end speakers
- Vincent factory speaker cables and connectors
- Cayin DAC
You can use it as a normal fuse but any change in stereo stage projection or in instrument details
