The footswitch worked flawlessly. The switches are of the 'soft-touch' variety so it is useful for times when you don't want to be distracted by a loud click to signify switching being made. I used this to control my TC Helicon Play Acoustic's looper functions and I can confirm that this is 100% compatible.

Good value for the money
Although it didn't come with a system unit shelf as seen in the photo, the table is a very good quality one. Assembly took roughly about 30 mins or so.

Bad noise gate effect, but good sound for the price.
The sound quality is good. It would have been nice if there were Bass and Treble controls to fine-tune the sound further, just like on other 2.1 soundbar-subwoofer products. Also, I noticed that there is some sort of noise gate with a rather sluggish response. Starting sounds are cut off by about a second so all intros of songs are cut off whenever there is a silence of about half a second or more prior to it. I hope there was a way to stop this noise gate function. It kind of gets frustrating in movies where there are pauses in the dialogue.
