Chrome plated cutback for 5 bucks!
Tried a cutback awhile ago and liked it for intricate line work. This was one too cheap to pass up.
After a little tuning, this thing hums along. I've only tried with 5rl and 3rl needles, but with a bit more juice (and a spring adjustment) you could easily use this for a shader because it hits really hard with more voltage.
The cool thing about a cutback is they have a little more speed and a slightly longer stroke, which seems to be due to the geometry as well as the spring setup.
20 minutes of tuning/setup, and she boogies along at around 5 volts. hits nice and clean.
Stays cool and is very light in the hand.
I seriously doubt it's made of stainless steel, but chrome plated something for sure.
Looks cool too!
Great little liner for 5 bones.

Low quality, nice looking.
This thing lost about 2 hours per day. Band was beefy, but the pins holding it together were rusty thin roll pins. Save your money.

Fits the brass rotary tattoo cam wheel
Got these to replace missing grub screws in some new cam wheels for a rotary tattoo machine. They shipped with no screws, and these did the trick.
