Best audio I've heard
1 of 1 found this helpful For music this is hands-down the best sounding setup, headphones or otherwise, that I have ever heard.
I am running stereo right now for movies, they sound really good, but I'm trying to figure out how to get setup with Dolby Headphone or another simulated surround. I cannot imagine how good that would sound.
I have a decent bose/harmon kardon speaker setup and I have literally stopped using my surround sound in favor of these headphones.

Very nice for price when buying used
These are nice headphones and can be picked up for a very reasonable price used on eBay, which is how I would recommend people buy them. There a lot out there.
To show you how much I like them I'll tell you that our family now owns 5 pairs. 2 for one tv setup in our bedroom and 3 to go with a higher-end pair of headphones (on a separate frequency/system) for our home theater.
We have a 2.5 year old and an infant on the way. These headphones are a very good way to experience great sound for music and movies without waking kids up and not breaking the bank.
My only complaint would be that sometimes you get interference on the frequency you're using and have to either change channels or re-tune the headphones, which is kind of annoying when you're in the middle of a movie, song or game. All in all, these headphones have made me re-think my previous desire to have a decked-out home theater. Why do that when headphones are so cheap and sound so good?
