Best in the business
If you like peas, this product brand is the best quality on the market. it has a minimum 25 year shelf life to it. Some have opened cans after 35 years and product is still fresh as the day it was bought. Mountain House is made by Oregon Freeze Dried. They have been in the market of freeze dried foods for quite a while. You have to watch out for others claiming the same quality. Some others do not taste as good, or the shelf life is not 25 years because they cheap out on gassing the can which extends the shelf life to 25 years. It is a double enameled can so the can does not rust over the years. Mountain House has a proven track record. I would rather pay the couple of bucks more for a longer shelf life, than see my food go rancid after the years because I bought the cheap stuff. In the freeze dried world, you get what you pay for.
