Good for the money, but I wouldn't go upgrade route again...
I bought this processor as a replacement for the 2.4Ghz processor that was previously in use in my Intel D865PERL motherboard.
The board was less stable with this processor installed, and although technically it would boot and run, I could not take advantage of the hyperthreading or other capabilities of the more advanced, newer processor, because the system would constantly give errors when the adv features were enabled.
Not the fault of the processor - but I would not have bought it, knowing this in advance. There was no problem with the seller or the the product, I'm sure with the correct motherboard/BIOS, it would have been great, but in my case, even after applying latest BIOS, marginally usable.
