Well-behaved wireless network adapter
The AR9223 is a single-band (2.4GHz) "2x2" chip. It was released in late 2009, making it one of the last Mini-PCI WLAN devices that was manufactured. (Everything since then has been Mini PCI Express, and for good reasons.)
I installed this in an older laptop, replacing an old and problematic Broadcom adapter. It seems quite well-behaved, unlike the Ralink RT3062 (ca. 2006) that I tried previously.
Beware, many laptop BIOSes (notably HP/Compaq and IBM/Lenovo) implement a WLAN adapter whitelist, and will refuse to start when an unrecognized WLAN adapter is installed.

Poor quality.
The tool is not sharp enough. It cuts soft wood very slowly, and requires heavy pressure on the drill.
