good kettle, it pours well and the top opens well with a button. BUT - there's no point having a glass kettle if the glass doesn't also cover the metal on the bottom, and if the lid is plastic. Toxic plastic leaches out and you can taste it. I open the lid when boiling. Why can't they just make the entire inside glass and make a glass or steel lid so you aren't drinking plastic chemicals???
