About us

Ethyl’s Garage automotive bookstore was started by Alex and Melinda. We are car and motorcycle enthusiasts with over 30 years experience in the automotive business. We wanted to create the best online bookstore specializing in automotive factory service manuals (FSMs) (also known as shop manuals, workshop manuals, maintenance manuals, and repair manuals), owners manuals, do-it-yourself (DIY) books, auto enthusiast and collector books, and rare and hard-to-find books. We have over 50 tons of factory service manuals and other automotive books in our warehouse. If you don’t find what you’re looking for here, please ask. We love to chat with our customers.

    This service manual set is as described… used but nice with only slight wear. These are factory manuals so the quality is first rate. The manuals arrived well packed and shipping cost was fine considering the weight of the set and the distance from the west coast to TN. The seller quickly answered a question I had prior to ordering, too. All in all, a great value for the set of 5 books. I’m definitely satisfied. A highly recommended seller.
