Easy to use – well priced – well-made.
Compared to the price of some capos, this is a very good bargain, and it works very well. I will likely buy a couple more…

It only works for a short time and then looses its connection.
All I needed was for this keyboard to transmit, start, stop and advance commands to my live music laptop software. A few simple key strokes send the command and that's it. The space bar starts and stops the music. Option F advances to the next song or Option B steps back one song. Pretty simple stuff.
The keyboard sat at arms length in front of me on a music stand and the MacBookPro laptop that it was linked to was 8 feet behind me. It worked fine—at first—but after only a short time it would loose its link to the computer. I would then have to reestablish the link, only to have the same thing happen again. And YES, the battery in the keyboard was fully charged—or at least I followed the instructions to do so with no apparent indication that the battery was low or empty. It just seems the signal is not strong enough to stay connected.
Perhaps this keyboard would work fine 2 inches away from a phone, tablet or computer but for my needs I was looking for an average distance of 6 to 10 feet. Didn't happen... There is, of course, the possibility that I got a lemon but based on my experience it is not a good value if it doesn't work as advertised... sorry to say. I would much prefer to leave positive feedback.
Other than the failure I experienced it is a nice little keyboard for the money. Perhaps now it will make a good chew toy for the dog.

Simple Clean Elegant and very compact.
2 of 2 found this helpful I'm pleased with this device. It does what it's suppose to do—provide more natural air flow under the laptop. It does not cool the computer directly, as a fan would but it does provide more space for natural circulation of air. And 5, 10, 15, degrees or more can really help.
This is NOT a device for setting a computer on your lap or any soft surface, like a bed or pillow. For that a device with cooling fans would be much better. Yet for a table top or any stable, rigid surface you wish you place your laptop on, it is perfect.
It is worth noting that in a room that is typically warm and/or if the computer is really loaded down with tasks, a fan cooling device maybe a safer choice, although this device could actually sit on top of some cooling fan platforms... but then, why bother if you have the fan. But even to the touch I can tell my computer is operating cooler.
My only bit of constructive criticism is: the two "stops" that are located on the front of the stand—where the computer rests against—should have a bumper that keeps the bottom section of the computer from touching the top of the two stops. Because of the slight angle of tilt that the stand provides for the computer (which is very egronomic), I always have to move the computer back an 1/8 of an inch or so before closing the computer, otherwise the laptops top-lid-screen section does not closes completely on the computer. In stead it comes to rest on the two stops leaving a small gap in the full closing of the computer. This is a very minor inconvenience but also an easy design fix if the designers want to come out with a "New and Improved" version. I am using a MacBook Pro and it maybe that other laptops do not have this issue... but imagine most would. But, as I said, this is such a minor issue and in no way prevents me from giving it 5 stars.
How well the device holds up and continues to work, following many cycles of opening and closing remain to be seen. But after a month of use—so far so good!
All in all, I wish other items I buy were as simple, clean, elegant and as compact as this little stand.
