Great upgrade from dual core cpu in supported laptops!
1 of 1 found this helpful Old quad core cpu for old dual core laptop. The upgrade is big when dealing with windows 10, the extra 2 cores really improves everything. Nearly all system/app stuttering when dealing with a lot of programs is gone. It's great that it was cheap too, but be sure your laptop can support this or any other cpu change. I had to look up the service manual and website for my laptop to be sure of what cpus were supported, and this one was a good choice for my laptop's configuration. Installation varies from laptop to laptop so find and keep that service manual handy to help with disassembly. No need for a brand new laptop when my old one just needed a little work.
