This a very valuable set. After each Sunday’s epistle and Gospel (pre-Vatican II), it has Thomas Aquinas’ Catena Aurea on that Holy Scripture. That is followed by corresponding Sermons and homilies from the Church Fathers such as Saints Augustine, Ambrose, Basil, John Chrysostom, Gregory Nazianzen, Leo the Great and Gregory the Great. The craftsmanship of the physical books as also exceptional. Priceless!
