A true DIY solution that's pretty much plug and play. You can do it!
It's the same product sold by many car stereo shops. They charge $150 for the unit and then $40 for the harness and $120 for labor and then a shop fee for $16 plus tax on the whole thing. I installed car audio for many years and this unit can be installed by most beginners. In most cases it does not require any cutting or splicing. I had to tap into three wires which is really nothing. One was optional. The instructions clearly tell you which ones. Install took about 45 minutes maybe less.
If you're looking to just add remote start, use your current key FOB and do not want to spend $400, this is a great choice.
**NOTE** - The place I purchased from "flashed" the module for me, so it was preloaded with the programming for my car.

Its what Dell would sell you.
Same PN as Dell. Works very well. Not a POS knock off.
