5 Blade Spiralizer Strongest & Heaviest Duty Vegetable Spiral Slicer Brieftons

Replace pasta with low carb veggies!
A friend told me about spiralizers for making veggie noodles, etc., but I didn't look into it until I realized I was slipping off my "no pasta" rule a little too often. I decided to try making my own zoodles with the appliances I own already, but that didn't end very well. I researched low-cost spiralizers and saw that this model was highly rated, so I bought one for myself and one for my diabetic sibling. Good call! It's easy to use, cleans up with a quick rinse and the low-carb noodles are ready to be sauted in no time. Great buy.

A Good Thing But Not The PBS Special!
I bought this DVD for my daughter because she's a Mamas and Papas fan and I'd told her how much she would enjoy the PBS special (1986?) about them. I bought this thinking it was the PBS special - possibly because it says on the description: "Extended PBS Special", or something close to that. What it really is is EXTRA footage that they cut out of the original special, and some later tributes to John Phillips after his death and maybe a bit more on Cass Elliot, including an interview with her lovely daughter. It is mainly made up of a lot of song by song info (e.g., John has "no idea" what the song "Monday, Monday" is about, he wrote it in around thirty minutes, and the rest of the group initially despised it. See? Good stuff!). My daughter loved it. I later went on line and discovered the Mamas and Papas documentary I had seen twenty years ago was actually just a segment in a mini series about the history of rock and roll, which is sold in a three disc set. That can be had for about $49.00 on the PBS shopping site or sometimes found on Ebay. You can also get the CD of all the songs from that documentary separately. I would recommend this tribute to the Mamas and the Papas to all of their many fans.
