Memory chips not working as a group of four.

Firstly - my mobo has four slots. My current two modules are the same specification as the two modules I bought here. My modules work - as in the PC boots correctly. I then took them out and put the two 'new' modules in - and the PC booted correctly - so those modules work. Now, the idea was to run all four modules together - but irregardless of how I placed them in the slots - changed channels, changed slots - the PC would not boot - black screen - black, not BSOD. So, I didn't achieve what I set out to do - unfortunately. As I said the modules I bought here are fine - but they will not work in tandem with the other two - same brand, same specifications. So, apart from playing around with memory timings and voltages - which can take forever - then I'm back to square one - bummer!
