A bit with good/bad points
This bit is made of good quality steel.
And
If you are using a drill press the bit performs excellent.
However,
If you are using a hand held drill.
This is not a good bit.
Hand held, the minute the bit contacts wood, the bit will go tracking every which way.
Goo for drill press.......not good for hand held drills

poorly designed
The handle is made of very thin metal. The handle has holes drilled in the sidewall of the handle for the cotter pin to attach the handle to the stand. The holes causes the sidewall of the handle to be weak and when pressure is apply to handle for removing the t post from ground .......bends and breaks where the holes are drilled
The handle bent and broke on the 3rd post I was removing.
The ground was soft......middle of July in New Mexico.
The description states...."removes even the hardest t-post from frozen ground"........bullshit.
