I bought my first pack of baseball cards in 1970. In 1972 a high school guy across the street gave me all his doubles and I was hooked. Mantle, Mays, Clemente, Bench,, you name a star from the 50's and into the 70's and I had them. What a gift! My hunger for getting more cards through trades and bartering was sparked. 50 years later I still love the hobby, but have been slowly selling my cards the last several years and now mainly collect my hometown Twins. Know I pack your cards with care.

Love Puckett's 1985 Topps Rookie Card
Have always liked the bright colors in the photo along with the red banner of the 1985 Kirby Puckett Topps Rookie Card. It catches him in a familiar batting stance waiting to attack the pitch wherever it is when it crosses the plate. You di havd to be careful as some of these great cards are somewhat blurry or lighter in color.

Take a walk back into history...
Great historical fiction series that doesn't make the the main character a superhero, but instead has him flawed like many people are. Through doing what Uhtred thinks is right he learns along the way that his actions leave a trail of integrity on some levels while his bullheadedness causes him problems that make up the individual. What was right for Uthred was not always what was right for others yet we're drawn to leaders and main characters that stand firm in what they believe to be right. I personally enjoyed getting insight into Alfred the Great and his decision making as well as his determination to see Christianity as the solid ground of the nation. Again, Alfred was a man and made mistakes which weighed on him throughout his life and tenure as King. Take a walk back into history and let your imagination open up to a different time that in many cases was a brutal life style.

A great card from early in the legendary Minnesota Twins superstar Kirby Puckett. Action photo framed by blue frame bringing out the vibrant colors of the in game action photo. The card stock itself began a three year span that set Fleer above the competition. Hands down the best of the 1987 cards produced.
