Fine little radio
I bought this showerproof radio to hang near a garden seat under a cherry tree.
My wife and I love sitting out there in the evening and now we listen to the radio as well.
This radio performs very well and is a pleasure to use.
So far it has withstood a few rainstorms and hopefully it will continue to do so.

torch batteries
I have a large flashlight which uses 6 batteries at a time. I could get a supply from the pound store ...but the ones from ebay are virtually the same price with a known quality
A much better deal all round !!

A bit Drippy
A great kettle and well up there with others of its kind...
The only drawback is that when you tip it to pour a stream of water in a cup , mug or teapot it is very easy to tip it so that water tips out of the lip either side of the shallow spout.
. Other kettles we have had do not do this .
It means that the tea cups. mugs or teapots have to stand on the sink drainer or a tray to catch the not insubstantial boiling drips
