Don't punnish youself . Buy a limbsaver recoil pad .
I have shot the gun and it was much more comfortable to shoot . The old recoil pad had gotten hard from age . I took it off and measured the stock and found that the 19112LS was very close . This was on a 20ga Franchi that weighs a touch over 5lb and kicked worse than a 12ga .

Best pliers in the World
I have used channel lock pliers for well over 50 years .Knipex pliers are in a class all by themselves . They are so much better than channel locks. No pinched fingers and grip much better . I own 7 pairs . 2 in my tractor , 2 in my pickup and the rest in the shop . I have from 16" down to the smallest.
