Good high frequency sound quality, love the 360 degree sound
Sound quality is GOOD for the price, it's smaller but sounds better than JBL Xtreme bluetooth speaker that I've been occasionally using. This one's more expensive and has weaker bass than the JBL but mid and high frequency sounds are clearer and more enjoyable. Extremely portable and 360 degree sound is a huge bonus. I never liked low frequency/bass sounds of small Bose speakers (and I didn't even like the low freq. sound of SoundTouch 30 which has relatively larger body compared to other Bose bluetooth speakers) but Most of the bose speakers and headphones that I've used so far do produce good mids and high freq. sounds. This one's good for listening to Classics (String sounds), Vocals, New Age but for playing Jazz, Hip Hop, Hard Rock this one may not be a good choice, there are cheaper alternatives that perform better - Sony, LG, Harman Kardon and JBL etc.

Good clear, natural sound, place it near the wall for bass reflection
Not a powerful speaker pumping out thunderous bass through woofer but Bose emphasized on reproducing natural sound on this one, Good for listening Classical & New Age music, not the best speaker for Jazz, Rock & Club/Party music. Bass sound come out from the rear of the speaker and not very clear. Place the speaker in front of the wall for Bass reflection. If placed on the table without the wall, standing in front of speaker hear little bass and standing behind hear too much bass. Good mid and high, good value for money.
