12v Edison LED Light Bulbs White Color 12 Volt E26 E27 Base Marine RV Off-Grid L

Great value
I was skeptical about these lights at first, but when I screwed them into my 12v off grid cabin they worked great! They are very bright for being so small. I like them much better than the 12v florescent bulbs they replace. One light as a porch light, the other for the interior.

Reality Amplifier, with a little bling and glow
Finally, a real bang for the buck. I put the amp into a car and initially had some really bad hum. I'm using an iPod nano with the iPod radio for a head unit with a pass through charger. Perfect since it's in a convertible. No head unit to steal. I tied the RCA inputs ground to the amp ground and the hum is gone. I don't know why the amp had a floating ground on line level inputs. Only bad part of the design. After the hum was gone there were more than enough adjustments on this amp to really bring the sound to life. I listen to all kinds of heavy bass and this amp really came through. After running for a half hour at about 80% of full capacity it was barely warm pushing 2 8" subs at 4 ohm and 2 3.5" 2 ways in the dash. Nice look too. Also, just a tip, I'm an Electrical Engineer. Forget about spending money on huge wires, it's a waste of money. I'm using 16ga wire which is good for 22 AMPS, and it works great for the speakers. The amp runs the 13.85 volts up to about 60VAC, switched DC, so 40W/60v=.67A. Don't believe me? Put a 2A fuse on your big bad speakers and try to blow it. Now look how small that 2A fuse is inside, that's a wire rated to carry 2A. Very thin. Also, the power wire is 10ga which is really overkill, that's good for like 55 Amps. Think about it people, most cars when running are at 13.85Vdc. If the amp has a 20A fuse, that's 13.85x20=277, 277Watts of total power, heat and to the speakers before that fuse pops. It's not really a 1000W amp, but neither are any of the others out there. I'm probably getting about 40W to each speaker and wasting about 80-90Watts in heat and other losses. So bottom line, that's a sweet 250W amp! Oh, and one final note, please secure your bass boxes with heavy metal strap to the floor or frame of the vehicle. Those things can really fly around in an accident and are very heavy.
