Worth upgrading for less than price of two new bulbs
My old illuminated doorbell was going through bulbs at an alarming rate. The old design was poor because you had to take tiny wires from the bulb base and bend them up; this would create a tenuous connection to the base. not the best way to supply current to a bulb. The new model seems to be designed better but we will see. It is very bright and the item was cheaper than a two-pack of replacement bulbs.

Fatally flawed but you can make it work with a little ingenuity and brute force.
Be very careful. The plug receptacle portion of this acutator is not molded correctly. The plug from the car does not snap in. Therefore it does not make electrical contact. I had to use bailing wire and tape to maintain the connection and who knows how long that will hold. Works for now, but was frustrating to deal with. It is possible you can also put in a bead of silicone into the female end and then jam in the plug. If they could re-mold the housing so the plug snaps in and stays put this would be a 5 star product.

Great BPM but customization not obvious

Only complaint I would have is it is not intuitive how to change the settings so you can turn off the feature that takes 3 readings at predetermined intervals. Sync is not obvious to me either. I think I have done it successfully but I don't use the feature. What did they say...after a month only 10% of people use a downloaded app. So much for stickiness. Guess I am getting too old. Well, I guess I am old since no young person would need a blood pressure monitor in the first place. The green/orange/red readings are very helpful and the irregular heartbeat detection is a good feature as well. Good quality batteries also included, but I will likely just leave it plugged in.
