A great Old Flash
For a rank amateur at best, I can't say enough for this flash, and to anyone considering first time buy-ing and not a true Pro? This will more than serve your needs well or at worse a great back up.

Value in a small kit
First off, let me say the felt carry bag is perfect. It takes me back to my youth. As for the three little blades, they are razor sharp and hold their edges well given what you pay. They are flexible which lends well to carving fruits, vegetables.
They work fine dragged across a steel, and I can say confidently I'd buy more again, and might do so for a friend.

An excellent second Laptop to have to get the Work done or a simple back up
I'd forgotten how much I loved the keys of this model year Macbook Pro. This Model Make, I think by far to date had the best keyboards, fluid yet firm. This Macbook looks like the Pro models that Apple intended them to be. Todays models may be much faster and more energy efficient, but this make Looks like the Mac Book Pro period.
Not necessarily for travel ( not for me anyhow) The screen real estate is plenty and for big spreadsheets, and the ability to do many of the latest Gestures in Mountain Lion, this Macbook Pro Arguably can fit the bill for small business and amateur photographers in my opinion. Or, Throw and SSD drive in here and it sorta really starts to move fast!!! Just a Sharp Laptop, looks great on any surface.
Keeps pace with todays software better than any 5+ year old laptop.
