The superiority of the Nikon S9700 is matched only by its superior price !
1 of 1 found this helpful Superior 1 cm Macro Focus which was the primary motivational factor in purchasing the Nikon S9700 Since I am a retired professional writer needing the camera to photograph documents and book text for formal reference. However, I was equally more than pleased with the zoom and the sharpness of the photographed subjects both near far.

Party Perfect Popcorn Marchine !
The perfect party popcorn machine that cleans as easy as it pops ! The ceramic coated heating plate surface is the best on the market since it heats cleanly without charring with minimum popping oil required and pops all the kernals at light speed. The front and center on-off push button is easily accessible. Although the machine is dishwasher safe, the cermamic surface makes it easier just to wipe clean after cool down. This superior popcorn master is ideal to pamper yourself or host a party with bucket loads of non-burnt crisp fresh popcorn. Simply flip the provided bowl upside down once and feast directly out of it if your party is solo or keep dumping refills into larger party size bowls for those football and or poker/bridge games. The AD features the standard safety precaution as should accompany all heating element features to include the warning not to touch it nor set the hot side of the ceramic surface that interfaces inside the machine on a countertop to cool down or contact any other surface that you do not want ruined. All I do to avoid any burn hazards it simply position the metal spindle bottom side of the ceramic plate surface back into the machine's internal plate-to-surface interface. Please remember to remove the packing cardboard that separates the bottom section of the ceramic plate from the rotary spindle. This machine is so self-explanatory and easy to operate that I failed to remove the packing cardboard insert which incenerated the cardboard and smoked up my kitchen, but did not harm me nor the machine.
