For the price paid, I find the Acer D250 an acceptable product.
This was a replacement for a ASUS 1005 that was recently stolen. The netbook is clearly slimmer in design although the slightly smaller keypad and touchpad are minuses. The speed of access is acceptable and the incorporated XP OS is fine for my use. I plan to upgrade the RAM from 1 gb to 2 which is the maximum allowed for the device. The screen brightest is excellent although I am using an exterior audio booster due to the weak speakers.

Extrenmely versatile device...
This is my second device as I have one that is coupled with a separate DAC/AMP combo with the Fiio 17K unit. The reason I wanted a second was to use the digital out signal which is very rare for a device of this quality and cost. After receipt, I updated the firmware to the latest version and inserted another micro card with FLAC albums and plugged the line into another DAC and amp. The playback is great.
