A necessary tool to replace the shaft bearings

The PVC pipe to be used as a seal driver is too small outside diameter, it does not match the outside diameter of the seal where it needs to contact the outer rigid rim in order to seat the seal. Adding a PVC coupler to one end will make it big enough to easily seat the seal, adding a PVC cap to the other end will allow you to hammer the center rather than alternating around the cut pipe end. It's also a lot lest likely to chip.

only partially works
When installed on a 3/4" shackle in turn installed on an ARB winch bumper the single urethane washer provided per side does not keep the shackle from rattling. Even adding two more washers per side does not completely fill the gap plus they just add something else to drop, lose or reinstall should you have to take the shackle apart to attach a tow strap. In addition the attaching hole in an ARB bumper is 1" in diameter, a 3/4" shackle bolt is 7/8", the washers do nothing to isolate the shackle bolt from the attaching hole in the area of it's penetration. These problems may be specific to the ARB brand bumper, but I doubt it since the attachment seems similar to other brands.
The shackle loop isolator does cushion that portion from the bumper, but expect damage to the isolator if it's not removed during a pull with a strap or cable attached.
Every part helps, but everything together does not completely prevent rattling.

I like it, bought one similar for an ATV fairlead
Works as advertised, looks good, but a different part number might have fit my roller fairlead a bit more snugly. It seems different brand/style fairleads are better fit by different part numbers. Do thorough research to find the best fit.
