Not imperial outher diameter
That wasn't specified that the O/D is 25mm metric and not 1" imperial. It sits off centre in my imperial die holder destroying threads rather then cutting

Not too bad for a Chinese brand..
2 of 2 found this helpful I bought this sheet metal cutter after offering about the same price for a Black&Decker, wich was so old that I couldn't even find it on the internet after searching the model number, the seller refused me. Well, he can try selling it, cause I got this tool wich is just so great that I am really impressed. Cuts 1mm steel sheet easily at an amazing speed, depending on how it is fed into the material. For accurate cuts it has to feed slowly. Can cut curves. Very small distortion occurs at beginning of cut wich is negligible. Power cord is the cheap type, better be with an eye on it, so you don't get electrocuted if it breaks. Sooner or later it will.
A pair of spare blades would have been nice to find in the box in wich it came. Don't know if spares can be found. Overall very good value for the price and I do recommend it over other tools for cutting steel sheet. Much better than an angle grinder(noisy, discs use up,can't cut curves), a hand tool(slow and painfull), or a nibbler(leaves half moons of metal wich are horrible).

The worse product I ever bought from ebay
At the first look it looks crap, when I slide it, it has a very large play. My old one wich is 20 years old does not have that play. When it is moved to zero, it bounces up and down a few of hundreds. The slide seizes half way at about 6cm. The finish, I think, it was made by a one eyed chap with an angle grinder.
I cannot describe how miserable I feel. Last time I bought one of these from Romania and they where 100 times better. If you look at the photos you can see that the surcace has no finnish, the edges are sharp. The thumb wheel remained blocked, I barely could move it again. The depth rod is just way to small for its sliding place, and has a huge play.
If any of the above reviews are true, you guys just never seen a real calipper before
