Low price and value for your money
0 of 1 found this helpful I don't know much about filters so I picked this one because of its low price and the specifications seem to mach most of the others offered. Installation is quite easy especially if you have a wrench to open the cartridge holder to take the old filters out. Then it is just a matter of take one out put one in. Now for the water - turn it on and let it run for 5 minutes so to flush out loose particles that may have been left at manufacturing.
The water taste good. It is not rally bad without filtration but there is definitely an improvement and who would not like to spend a small amount for peace of mind to know that most of the nastiest that come with tap water end their journey in the filter. I usually keep the filter for a year but perhaps should follow recommendations and throw them out after 6 month. thumbs up for this one.
Now for the negative: Hm. perhaps a little note to explain which filter should be installed first in line and why, because both filters seem to filter 0.5 micron.

It is as good as I hoped it would be.
1 of 3 found this helpful Makes one cup at the time and is easy to do. This is my first coffee maker and I had no problem at all learning the simple steps of making coffee. It is a good looking machine , easy to clean and to operate. The coffee is as good as the one you buy in a shop. I've notice that other coffee makers have another handle to hold on when putting in the filter (that needs a little force). That would be helpful but is not a big deal. I consider this coffee maker a good by and have no hesitation to recommend it.
