Much more than expected
My unit was a factory refurbished unit, but had it not been for the wrong box (not that I'm complaining) I wouldn't have known it wasn't brand new as it even came with brand new batteries for the remote and was totally cosmetically and functionally perfect.
At first the sound was quite underwhelming but as I played with some setting and turned up the sound and base, things turned sexy rather quickly.
Being a long time SONY fan, I also have a Xperia so I gave the NFC thing a go and quickly found out that i could control the volume and input selector of this sound bar via my phone too seamlessly.
Not sure if I haven't done this right but the only thing I'm struggling with is to control the volume of this sound bar via the Bravia TV remote although even that is done completely via smartphone.
I even prefer the smartphone remote as it doesn't rely on line of sight IR, rather the WiFi or BT signal anywhere from my apartment.
The other thing is the wireless Sub. No pairing required. Just plug in power, give it a second after turning on the main unit and it's all ready to go.
Couldn't be happier!

Becuase I have a Z5Premium
Bought it to see what high-res audio sounds like.
But either my hearing isn't that special or something, can't really tell the difference.
Compared against my SONY MDR-NC033 purchased from Ebay (got 4, 2 for myself incase I lose one, and 2 more for friends) for $25 inc delivery brand new, these ones lack base and depth. I'm still playing around with settings but just glad that I only had to pay ebay pricing and not full price for these.
The one notable improvement is that these one don't tangle at all. But at nearly 4 times the price of the NC033, not sure if I'd buy again. Still, glad I did. Now I know.
*All my SONY earphones are still working like new. Had too much money to blow.
