Fast enough, reliability unknown
Based on various speed tests, this WD Blue is much slower than the Samsung models I have been using. At the same time, it's much faster, quieter, and more energy efficient than the WD HDD (Black) it has replaced.
Even though slower than my Samsung SSDs, I don't notice the speed difference in normal operations.
I used to buy WD Black HDDs exclusively, as they were for me the most reliable on the market. WD has chosen to put their color labels on SSDs, as they did for HDDs, but that doesn't really allow me to assess reliability. I'm hoping this will be a reliable product; only time will tell.
