Better than a glass butter dish
While the metal is a bit thinner than I expected, it's well made, fits in the butter compartment of the fridge, and holds an 8oz stick of Kerry Gold butter (or an 8 oz brick of cream cheese). And if you pull the fridge door open quickly and it hits the floor, it won't break like the 3 glass butter dishes that preceded it.
