Best Meatyard book published
0 of 1 found this helpful This is the best book available on Meatyard. It is thoroughly researched and clearly written and gives more information about Meatyard's life and the connection of that life to his art than any other available book. It's not really a "reissue" of Lucybelle, but a publication of it the way Meatyard wanted it presented but which it's never before been presented. And the 30 some odd additional photos in the book are mostly ones not published before elsewhere.
