Great paddle float design that can also ...

Great paddle float design that can also work as a drybag. Mine was branded Salamander instead of Wildwasser, but it seems to be the same thing.

More than a little cliché

More than a little cliché, with exhausting Hollywood tropes like the irredeemable alcoholic with a dark past and heavy resistance, a ticking clock, and female romantic interests who are at least 45 years younger than Clint (ick). The anti-hero treatment just doesn't work as well here as in many of his other movies, including his masterpiece, Unforgiven. Overall, this film feels a lot like it came out of the same cookie-cutter as Bloodwork and Absolute Power, which were also a bit period and stale. But True Crime certainly never rises to the amusing camp levels of Eiger Sanction or some of his early westerns. Definitely not the greatest of Eastwood's films, but reasonably watchable (once) if you don't expect too much.
