Nikon D90
I bought the camera for my wife because our older Digital cameras are slow on the refresh rate, subsequently your subject has moved 10 feet by the time picture # two is ready to go. The D90 is easy to use even for a novice but don't throw your old camera away cause the D90 is not the camera you want kicking around in the bottom of the boat when out fishing or other like activity.
Low light exposures are easy with aperture priority and shutter priority modes. I had an older non digital 8000 and most of the great features have been retained in a lighter smaller body. The film and developing costs,as in all these Digital cameras are exactly right. Like in all the gadgets nowadays there are features the run of the mill user will never even comprehend. Nikon I find is always reliable,thus my choice.
