The End of Colonialism
This classic war movie chronicles key moments in the French campaign in Algeria. It's one of the best ever made about irregular or unconventional warfare. It demonstrates that one can win battle after battle, without really winning the war itself.
It begins with a disclaimer stating that no newsreel footage was used. But it looks as real as any documentary. The characters are so vivid, the scenes so realistic, and the look of the film so lifelike that I felt as if I had lived through it.
Anyone who enjoyed Blackhawk Down or We Were Soldiers should see this film. You won't forget it.

Good Creepy Fun
This movie has a Twilight Zone quality to it. It takes a while to get into the story, but once it does it's very bizarre and creepy. And, if you've seen any of Ittenbach's films, you know that a happy ending is not inevitable. Expect the unexpected. Hollywood doesn't make movies like this.
