Very poor quality product

I purchased this belt to replace the 10k mile belt on a 150cc scooter. Initially, I thought that I may have ordered the wrong size. This was in fact the same size as the OE belt. I installed the belt and and checked alignment, all was good. After a 10 minute run-in period, we were ready for a test ride. While under very minimal load, the belt lasted a whole 3 miles!!!!! Very cheap product and while pushing the scooter back home, I have decided to ONLY buy Gates belts from here on out. Save yourself the headache (and the 3 mile hike back home) and buy a premium name brand belt.

too bad its being recalled

i will not be keeping due to the large recall by walmart. a $15 dvd player is not worth my house burnung down.
