One hunter's opinion
10 of 10 found this helpful I bought this item because I hunt, and every hunter knows what its like to get yourself turned around in the woods to a point of feeling a little lost. This is especially true when you're out scouting during the late summer/early fall days when the woods are still pretty thick. Well, I know the other GPS's offer all sorts of GPS features that they think will help hunters. But, the truth is, there's only one handheld GPS manufacturer out there who can genuinely claim to know what hunters want in a GPS, and that's Bushnell. Bushnell knows that the one thing that's going to help the hunter the most when in the woods is the ability to actually see the tree line, the creek, the field, the cabin, and your proximity to these things. If you're a hunter don't bother reading the reviews of Bushnell's Onix line from people who aren't hunters. They'll give you all sorts of comparisons between Bushnell and this or that. Don't bother comparisons, there's only one that offers the true aeriel photograph of the land you're hunting on. I have the Onix 200CR, and its great.
