Beatles Re-visited
1 of 1 found this helpful This is the soundtrack of the movie 'I AM SAM', and if you enjoyed the movie, you will enjoy this compilation. All tracks are Lennon & McCartney compositions and all artists give their unique spin on our Beatles favourites. Opening with Aimee Mann & Michael Penn giving a wonderful rendition of 'Two of Us', along with 'Eddie Vedder's - You've Got To Hide Your Love', 'Stereophonics - Don't Bring Me Down' and 'Sarah McLachlan - Blackbird', there is something here for everyone. There are 15 tracks on here which is excellent value for money with only 2 tracks that are substandard - 'Grandaddy's version of 'Revolution', is just awful and 'Chocolate Genius'-'Julia' is irritating. The other 13tracks are wonderfully delivered and definitly worth the price of the CD.
