If you need it, you need it...
The info in the manual is what you are looking for. If you need to work on a Tiguan, this is it. The issue is making the software work. The manual is for a 2009 VW Tiguan. The software *requires* that you load it on a computer that has Windows XP (yes, a 20+ year old operating system that stopped being supported in 2014). No, you can't run it in XP compatibility mode (I'm running Win10) It won't work. You have to setup a computer or at the very least a Virtual Machine where you loaded up WinXP. If you can't do this, the software is unusable. It will never complete the registration process. Even if you get it to run in WinXP, the automatic registration will fail since Bentley Publishers redid their website so the program points to a webpage that does not exist and you get a 404 error. You have to manually go to Bentley's website, register a username and password then make sure everything matches from the computer program (your name, computer name, serial number, etc) in order to be given the activation code. Such a process.
