Worked perfectly. I don’t know why anyone would use a band style compressor. These are so much faster and much nicer on the rings.

Works very well for open barrel d-sub.
I've used few other inexpensive crimpers to do open barrel d-sub pins with little luck. I purchased these for "next time" and all I can say is from some practice crimps I've done so far (about a dozen), I wish I had bought this years ago.
It's an inexpensive frame with very nice jaws and it gets the job done very nicely for a very reasonable price.

Not really worth the money.
The housings don’t engage each other well due to warping of the locators and the terminals don’t have much contact for higher current applications.
It’s not horrible or anything, but there are better choices out there for the same money. For low current applications...warning lights or gauges...it would be fine...but so would a Delphi or Molex for the same price.
