Not a genuine Shimano chain.
1 of 1 found this helpful This chain does look good but once installed I checked it for chain wear and it was already at 1%, meaning it would now start to damage the rear cassette and front chain rings. I bought 2 and they are both the same.
I went to a local bike store who said these are not genuine Shimano chains despite having Shimano branding on them. They said Shimano do not provide a quick link with their chain, only a connecting pin. The chain also comes in a plastic bag, no Shimano box. At best guess the bike shop said these chains are Chinese counterfeits.
