BEWARE: Reason to Believe These Are Non-Authentic/ Counterfeit Products
41 of 42 found this helpful I bought two of these adaptors and recieved them today.
I currently own an original I bought with my Macbook Pro Touch that I bought from Apple direct 6 months ago, which I've used to compare to this product.
With this purchase:
1) The power adaptor is recognizablly lighter weight and less dense as a unit in total. Plastic casing is more hollow,
2) When you pop off the two prong power adaptor, in the body of the charger, there is NO serial number, where as the Apple original does have a serial number easily visable
3) The 2M charge cable does not fit cleanly or snugly into either the charger or my Macbook Pro. It must be wiggled in, and does not securely fasten like the orginal.
4) This product does not describe if this product is authentic or in-authentic to justify the price decrease when compared to purchasing the original.
5) the font on the charger is different when compared to original
Beware. I hope I am wrong, becuase the packaging and all other details come across as legitamite, but there is a huge market for bootlegging these necessities.
