The Wizard of Oz [Blu-ray] Blu-ray

A film that is exciting, enticing, memorable and familiar.
This is a holiday favorite since it was produced in 1939. It was shown on TV around 1960 and was such a big hit that it's shown every year around the holidays. The main characters all are searching to improve their lives by getting the most important factor to lead them to a meaningful existence. They have many tasks and obstacles in their way but in the end are successful. That is a familiar tale told many different ways over the ages. Having this in Blu-ray exposes many of the things that were unseen in the old film. For example, it was the first time I ever saw a skeleton head over the inside door of the carnival barker. The clarity produced in this Blu-ray version will make those who have seen it want to see it again and again. It will also add a new audience of first time viewers.
