Best for children
1 of 1 found this helpful The item arrived quickly and well packaged. I was sent a pink set, thought I was getting black. Would be very embarrassing to wear as an adult. You get what you pay for here. Very cheap and the nose clip was a hard piece of plastic that didn't fit and hurt my nose trying to get it on. I would recommend specifying a black set if you dont want to look like an idiot in bright pink. Better to spend the money and get something good.

So slow, impossible for real time accuracy
This thermometer is garbage. The digital read-out is unbelievably slow. It took 5 minutes to change from room temperature to the temperature of the food it was in. If you are working with hot sugar or tempering chocolate do not use this as your kitchen would be blown to smithereens waiting for a temperature readout. If you are buying this to stab a turkey and you have time to wait around then it would be fine. For anything temperature sensitive forget it.
