Purchase and installation of passanger side mirror assembly on 2009 Toyota Prius.
The paint color of the mirror assembly was an exact match to the factory color of the car body. Installation of the assembly appeared to be straight-forward enough to self-install. Instead, for less than $70, I opted to have a local body shop dismount the old, damaged mirror and mount the new unit.
The body shop suggested that the vehicle be left with them; within about 1-1/2 hrs, they called, indicating that the car was ready. The replacement mirror assembly has worked as new since.
Rated the unit as 4-star (not 5-star) ONLY because the installation is less than 1 month old; possible defects have not had time to develop.
