Clubland review
Thoughtful and engaging drama written by "Wings" star Steven Weber about a father/son talent agent team in 1950's NY. Stuey Walters*played by Weber* is loosely based on Weber's own father who was an agent in NY. Weber shows promise as a screenwriter: his script deftly explores industry ups and downs and the stormy relationship between Stuey and his hard-boiled father *played superbly by Alan Alda*. Viewers not actively interested in the "biz" side of showbiz might be bored somewhat, but if you're a fan of either Alda or Weber this film is must-see.

L & O: Criminal Intent
Criminal Intent is IMHO, the best installlment of the Law and Order series yet. Detective Robert Goren (played by Vincent D'Onofrio) is a cheeky, likable guy who has an uncanny ability to see right through a suspect, zeroing in on every weakness. Alex Eames (Kathryn Erbe) is a solid, competent detective with a dry wit who plays off her partner's quirky manner well. Supporting cast Jamey Sheridan and Courteny B. Vance are well-developed enough to hold their own. All in all an excellent series for fans of classic L & O as well as newcomers to the series.

Madge doesn't disappoint
Great dance tracks from the queen of Pop, Madonna. I've been a fan since the late 80's and this album does not disappoint. Madge continues to evolve as an artist while maintaining her signature funky tunes. "Bitch, I'm Madonna" featuring Nicki Minaj pokes fun at her own image while delivering a punchy dance tune, and "Joan of Arc" is a melodic, introspective piece. "S.E.X." is a throwback to her "Erotica" days, and "Rebel Heart" has an acoustic guitar track and is a folky, soul-infused number. All in all, thumbs up!
