End of an era
For a final story he picked a very emotive subject. Discworld without Granny Weatherwax! Or is it? Where is she? I like the way he has finalized the story of discworld by reviving a few well loved characters but am very sad there will never be another one.

Delicious
My favorite american song writer. His songs were very well crafted, sometimes slightly tongue-in-cheek and naughty. The story was well told and well acted. The principal characters were well depicted, but all the lesser parts and even lesser parts were also well done. It was also a story of a time and privilege. It also tells us all the money and talent in the world cannot give you complete happiness. I love this film and have watched it many times, each time I enjoy his glorious talent, and resulting wonderful songs.

Funny insightful and clever
I have read all the Discworld novels several times. Every time I read them I find something new, that is the sign of a good book. This one is no exception in that. The story builds slowly, the characters are believable and you keep reading because you want to know what is going to happen next. Some favourite characters pop up again, and it is interesting to see how they grow. I am not saying much about the story, except it is about war. The necessity and the futility depending on your view and place, and the characters view and place. No spoiler alerts here except to say it is written with his humour and insight and to me, worth a second read so for anyone not tried it, a first one. Follow Polly and her adventures and companions and enjoy.
