Highly recommended for anyone interested in the steam locomotives of UK.
This is one in a series of books, by Brian Haresnape, on the major British CME's. Each class of locomotive is dealt with in a seperate chapter. The informative text gives details of, when, where and how many were built, why they were built, a potted history of the class, and date withdrawn. I found it very readable and never over technical. The many B&W photos show each locomotive class in original and modified forms. I came across the first book by chance, and have now collected most of the series. Highly recommended for anyone interested in the steam locomotives of Great Britian.

Logical steps
Easy to read - easy to find topics. No geek speak. Lots of 'Hints' and 'Warnings'. Essential reading for anyone wanting to get the best out of Photoshop.
