Good. Very good. Worth getting if you hate changing blades...
I went through four blades cutting carpet recently, and that was only half way through the job.
Then I remembered I had bought these special blades. I finished the job on one of these special blades, and it showed no signs of getting blunt.
Nuff.

Kills hum totally; sound is transparent and clean, but bass is attenuated !

An annoying hum and a whistle was completely eliminated by this.
BUT...
For my HiFi it was apparently 'transparent' in general, but it clearly had a roll-off at lower frequencies. Bass was definitely attenuated by this device. I believe it is because of impedance issues. Bass was lighter as though I had turned the bass control down. This was escpecially noticed on organ and synthesiser music.
The frequency response gives a clue: this device starts at 40hz, but the ones I had been using for my other HiFi had a frequency response that went down to 20hz. That is clearly significant.
Also, the DC resistance of the windings was much lower on this device: it was ~150 ohms, whereas my other isolators were much higher: 350ohms. The others had an impedance of 20kohms; but the impedance for these devices is not stated.

Very good quality, but there is a "however"...
As with all HikVision products, the build quality is very good.
However this is not as "deep" as its description might make you think. If you have to connect audio and alarm cables inside this case, it is only just enough space for the cables and connectors. Just.
